WILLMAR: #5A Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa won 8 sets and didn't lose one. From the West Central Tribune.

TODD BACHMAN: At Lakeville North #3AA Marshall finished in 6th place. On Saturday the Tigers beat Hopkins and fell to Lakeville South. From the Marshall Independent.

APPLE VALLEY: #3A Minneota finished in fourth place with two losses on Saturday to Delano and Osseo. From the Marshall Independent.

BURNSVILLE: Hutchinson's top two hitters, Laura and Sara Carlson, were gone attending their oldest sister's wedding this weekend. Without them, they were out of sync Friday against Rosemount and played better against Andover, but still lost 2-1. Add in that reserve OH and co-captain Allysa Lund may have broken her foot 10 points on Friday night. They were so short-handed the Tigers had a setter move to RH.
