Concordia Moorhead, Bethel Tournament Champs

CONCORDIA MOORHEAD WINS OWN TOURNAMENT
Concordia Moorhead won their own tournament with four wins. Their only blemish is when Bemidji State took a game off them in a four game win. They finished with a sweep of Valley City State 24, 27, 23. Becca Shane was named tourney MVP for the third straight year. Joining her on the all tournament team were Danielle Dahl, Michelle Honek and Angie Bonde.

BETHEL WINS NORTHWESTERN MN TOURNEY
Bethel finished 4-0 and won the Northwestern MN tournament on Saturday. Bethel's Liz Glesne, and Jennifer Stoa made the all tournament team.
Macalester was 3-1 in the tournament which placed them second. Andrea Hansen and Kari Tanaka made the all tournament squad for Mac.

ST. THOMAS WINS TWICE IN BOXER KICKOFF TOURNAMENT
St. Thomas won twice in the Boxer Kickoff tournament in Pacific University in Oregon. They swept the hosts 18, 28, 22, and then beat Texas Lutheran in four games.

ST. OLAF 2ND, GUSTAVUS 3RD AT PIKES PEAK
St. Olaf split with Colorado College, but at the wrong time as CC claimed the championship with a 3-2 win in their second confrontation of the day. St. Olaf won the first tussle in four.
Gustavus finished third in the Pikes Peak tournament going 3-1 for the weekend. They had to play Endicott twice on Saturday and won both times 3-0 in the first battle, and then 3-1 in the 3rd place match. Andrea Kron, and Emily Klein were named all tournament for Gustavus.

CARLETON TOPS ST. BENEDICT FOR 5TH
Carleton traveled to Elmhurst, Illinois to beat MIAC rival St. Benedict in four in the 5th place game of the Elmhurst tournament. They started the day with a four game win over Adrian, MI. Carleton's Laura Barsness was named to the All tournemant team.
St. Benedict lost to Adrian earlier in the day in four. They did beat St. Mary's of Winona in three.
St. Mary's of Winona also lost to Adrian in four. Next week they host the Sugarloaf Classic.

HAMLINE SPLITS AT EAU CLAIRE.
Hamline split on Saturday at Eau Claire with a sweep over Crown 22, 26, 18 and losing in four to Buena Vista. Dana Luiken was named to the all tournament team.
St. Catherine's lost to Buena Vista as well on Saturday in three.
