AWARDS REMINDERS
This Friday is the date that MN HS All State nominations need to be postmarked. Don't let this deadline slip by and have a deserving player standing out in the cold. You can download the forms from the MNVBCA site.

Also the AVCA has an awards progam including All American. Their deadline is Dec. 1 and you complete the information online.Coaches must belong to each organization to nominate for the respective awards.

TOP 10 BATTLE
In the big battle of the day #1 Minneota got the brooms out for #3 Central Christian 22, 20, 19. Minneota had 39 kills for the night. More in the Marshall Independent.

MORE MONDAY MN HS ACTION
DGF, now #1 in AA, beat Fargo North 13, 14, 17. Junior Jennifer Lopez led DGF with 18 kills. From the Fargo Forum.

Moorhead swept past Detorit Lakes 10, 21, 17. From the FF.

Bemidji ran its record to 6-0 with a 20, 8, 10 sweep over Crookston. Bemidji travels to North Banch on Saturday. From the Bemidji Pioneer.

Glenville-Emmons won a tough five game match with Grand Meadow taking the odd numbered games. From the Albert Lea Tribune.

Southland went five beating Blooming Prairie. Southland took games 1, 4, and five (17-15). This game and a few more in the Austin Herald

Pine River-Backus swept Crosby-Ironton 23, 14, 19. More from the Brainerd Dispatch

Hutchinson swept Mankato West plus more local action in the Mankato Free Press.

Sauk Rapids downed Fergus Falls 3-1 in Central Lakes Action. SR is undefeated in conference play. This game and more in the Central MN area from the St. Cloud Times.

Little Falls swept Willmar 19, 15, 23. It was the fourth loss in five games for Willmar. From the West Central Tribune.

BOLD went five games with Benson in West Central South action. from the WCT

MACCRAY lost the first game to Redwood Valley, but won the next three. from the WCT.

Round Lake-Brewster stepped up to beat bigger school Luverne at Luverne in four. From the Worthington Daily Globe.

LATE SATURDAY HS TOURNAMENT ACTION
United South Central were 0-3 in the Mankato West touranment as they lost to tournament champion Belle Plaine, MN Valley Lutheran, and Windom. Story from the Albert Lea Tribune.

NRHEG went 2-3 at the Montgomery Tournament which was good for 4th place. NRHEG opened with a wins over Cannon Falls, and Cleveland. To finish the pool, they finished with a split with LeCenter. They followed that with a loss to JWP and then came back around and played Cannon Falls, but this time CF got the better of them. Story from the ALT

The Southwest Challenge in Marshall last weekend featured high octane teams and was a smash hit. The talk is that more high powered teams from throughout the upper midwest may be in attendance next season. From the Marshall Independent.
