Lakeview Upsets Central Christian

AAA ACTION
#3AAA Marshall continued its Southwest Conference dominance with a convincing 11, 10, 16 sweep of Redwood Valley.

Mississippi 8 leader Buffalo beat Rogers 3-1. Ericka Sudduth, Rogers' top hitter, injured her ankle on the first play of the game. From the Elk River Star News.

Rocori swept Willmar 19, 17, 19 in Central Lakes action. Tuesday Willmar had a big win against power Alexandria. From the West Central Tribune.

AA ACTION
#1 DGF swept Hawley 23, 21, 17 in Heart O'Lakes action. You will need to scroll past the Fargo results in the Fargo Forum.

#7AA BBE beat Pierz 3-1 only losing game three 26-24 in Central MN action. It is the second game in the coverage following MACCRAY's win. From the West Central Tribune.

In 3 straight games, #8AA Byron defeated Kenyon-Wanamingo. Scores were 25-11, 25-19, 25-18. The Bears had a balanced attack assisted by their 2 setters Steph Vosberg ( 11 set assists and 8 digs) and Brittlyn Olson (15 set assists). Ashley Pyfferoen had 10 kills and 7 digs, Jill Storlie had 9 kills, 12 digs, and 3 ace serves, Racquel Reker had 8 kills, 6 digs, and 4 ace blocks, and Nicole Koester had 3 kills and 7 digs. Byron is now 10-4 overall and 4-0 in the HVL. They play at Dover-Eyota on Monday.

Montevideo swept Benson and kept the lead in the West Central South. this and other WC South games from from the West Central Tribune.

Minnewaska went beyond the point total in their five game match against Paynesville. This in the WCT.

Lakeview stunned #3A Central Christian in four games in Camden action. I know the headlines say #4, but my information is CC is #3.

LAST WEEK
Cambridge-Isanti lost to Becker in five games. CI lost game one 26-24 and game four 25-23. On Saturday they lost to Forest Lake in three. It was another fiver on Tuesday against Coon Rapids with another loss. From the Isanti County News.
