Roehrig's 22 Kills Leads Gophers

ROEHRIG POWERS GOPHERS
Kyla Roehrig, back on Nebraska soil, had a career high 22 kills in a 3-1 win over #25 Cal Poly in the Nebraska Ameritas Players Challenge. It marked the first time Kelly Bowman played this year. Malama Peniata has to sit out this tournament, but will be ready to play against Northern Iowa.

Wisconsin swept Northern Colorado 22, 13, 24 in the UW Milwaukee tournament.

South Dakota State swept Drake 23, 19, 17 last night in Des Moines.

North Dakota State got to play defending national champs Washington in Husky Classic. They were swept by Washington 19, 15, 17. NDSU also faced Portland State earlier with a 3-1 loss. NDSU grabbed a 30-28 win in game two.

UM DULUTH TAKE TWO
#5 UM Duluth opened their Washburn Lady Blues Classic with a sweep over #13 North Alabama. But games one and three were decided by two 31-29, 30-28. Then UMD went five with unranked Emporia State, a team they had already beat in Michigan. UMD won games one, four, and five. Today's featured game will be against #4 Truman State.
