Iowa State Loses Tight Match with #2 Nebraska

MORE D1 RESULTS
ACC
North Carolina swept Boston College with a margin of 26 points. Brianna Eskola (Columbia Heights) had 9 digs for UNC.

Clemson outlasted Virginia in five with a 15 point margin. Virginia led 2-0. Marlow Bruneau (Lakeville) had 33 assists and 9 points for the Cavaliers.

BIG 12
#2 Nebraska beat Iowa State in four with an 8 point margin. Diane Kieger (Mounds View) had 8.5 points for the Cyclones.

MISSOURI VALLEY
#14 Wichita State beat Creighton in four with a 12 point margin. Jessica Houts (Bloomington Kennedy) had 18.5 points and Allie Oelke (Chaska) had 9 for the Bluejays.

Northern Iowa swept Indiana State with a 21 point margin. Amy Sampson (Champlin Park) had 11 points for the Panthers.

PAC 10
Arizona State swept Washington State with a 33 point margin. Emily Rooney (Red Wing) had 6.5 points for WSU.

SOUTHERN
The College of Charleston beat Furman in four with a margin of 8 points. Pamela Gehrke (Eastview) had 3 digs for the Paladins.

SUMMIT
North Dakota State downed South Dakota State in four with a 16 point margin. Chrissy Knuth (Champlin Park) had 19.5 points for the Bison. Mackenzie Angner (Cincinnati St. Ursula) had 21 points for SDSU.

MID AMERICAN
Ohio beat Buffalo in four with a margin of 36 points. Amanda Andersen (Centennial) had 4.5 points for the Bobcats.

DUAL
Penn lost twice on Saturday. In the first contest Seattle beat Penn in five with a 10 point margin. Penn led again 2-0, but could not finish. In the second St. Mary's, CA swept Penn.
Virginia Senf (Woodbury) had 2 points vs Seattle and 1.5 vs St. Mary's CA.

TOURNAMENTS
STONY BROOK
Stony Brook won their own title with a pair of sweeps. SB beat Brown by a margin of 23 points and St. Francis, PA by a margin of 28 points. Alicia Nelson (Eastview) had 12 points in the Brown match and 16.5 points in the SF match.

WINSTON-SALEM STATE
Maryland Eastern Shore beat the hosts in a sweep with a margin of 41 points. UMES then beat Savannah State again in sweep with a margin of 41 points. Chanita Wesley (Benilde-St. Margaret's) had 6 digs vs SS.

TODAY
Marshall hosts UAB.
