St. Ben's Survies Augsburg

MIAC
St. Benedict beat Augsburg in five with an 8 point differential. Emma Jaynes (Hibbing) had 19.5 points for St. Ben's. Katie Christensen (Mankato West) and Julie Jenkins (Edina) each had 13.5 points for Augsburg.

UMAC
Martin Luther beat UM Morris in four. Carrie Fritzler had 11 points for ML. Briana Czer (MN Valley Lutheran) had 13 kills for UMM. From the New Ulm Journal.

Bethany Lutheran swept Presentation with a 28 point margin. Eva Voss (MN Valley Lutheran) had 11 kills for BL. Becky Smith had 9.5 points for Presentation. From the Mankato Free Press and the Aberdeen American News.

Northland swept Crown by a 30 point margin. Laura Fisher (Green Bay East) had 9 kills for Northland.

Northwestern, MN swept St. Scholastica with a 19 point margin. Kathryne Engel (West Lutheran) had 13.5 points for NW. Shawna Varichak (Hibbing) had 11 points for CSS.

TOURNAMENTS
CENTRAL IOWA
St. Olaf split on the day with a sweep over Buena Vista with an 18 point margin; followed by a five set loss to host Central by a margin of 5 points.
St. Olaf's Jessica Levin (Cedar Rapids Xavier) had 16.5 points vs BV and 20 vs Central.
Katie Vondrak (Sioux City Heelan) had 12.5 points for BV.
Ashley Ellingson had 17 points for Central.

UW Eau Claire lost to Hope and #5 Carthage.
Abby Freiborg (Renville County West) and Danielle Lucia (St. Cloud Apollo) each had 11 points vs Hope.
Stephanie Peterson (Duluth East) had 11 points vs Carthage.

UW PLATTEVILLE

UW WHITEWATER
Whitewater won twice in their own tournament Friday. They opened with a sweep of Iowa Wesleyan, followed by a four set win over Augustana, IL.
Keri Klotzbuecher (Clintonville, WI) and Caitlin Hogan (New London, WI) each had 13.5 points vs IW. Klotzbuecher had 15 vs Augustana.

VITERBO
UW Stout swept Cardinal Stritch and then were swept by Viterbo. Maggie Meixl (Mankato West) had 20 points vs CS. Steph Nichols (Greendale, WI) had 9 points vs. Viterbo.

NAIA
Black Hills State beat Jamestown in four with a six point margin. Samantha Revering (Fergus Falls) had 9 points for Jamestown. From the Jamestown Sun.
