ACC
North Carolina swept Maryland with a 26 point margin. Brianna Eskola (Columbia Heights) had 15 digs for the Tar Heels.
Georgia Tech beat Virginia in four with a 9 point margin. Marlow Bruneau (Lakeville) had 23 assists and 3.5 points for the Cavaliers.
BIG EAST
St. John’s swept Cincinnati with a 17 point margin. Kelsey Brandl (Lakeville North) had 8 points for the Bearcats.
Marquette swept Rutgers with a 14 point margin. Leslie Bielski (Chaska) had 12.5 points and Tiara Russell (Osseo) had 5.5 points for Marquette.
PAC 10
Arizona swept Washington State with a 13 point margin. Emily Rooney (Red Wing) had 8 points for WS.
SEC
The debate wasn't the only thing happening on the Ole Miss campus yesterday. Mississippi beat South Carolina in four with a six point margin. Bridget Denson-Dorman (Hopkins) had 42 assists and 2 points for USC.
SOUTHERN
Furman beat Citadel in four. Pamela Gehrke (Eastview) had 1 dig for Furman.
MISSOURI VALLEY
Creighton beat Missouri State in four with a margin of 15 points. Jessica Houts (Bloomington Kennedy) had 22 points and Allie Oelke (Chaska) had four points for the Bluejays. Laurel Sanford (Eastview) played but did not score.
Northern Iowa swept Illinois State. Amy Sampson (Champlin Park) had 10.5 points for UNI.
CUSA
Marshall beat Memphis in four with a 27 point margin. Megan Carlson (Andover) had 2 points for the Thundering Herd.
MOUNTAIN WEST
#13 Colorado State beat Wyoming in five with a margin of 18 points. Tessa Nelson (Tracy-Milroy-Balaton) had 15.5 points for the Rams.
MID AMERICAN
Ohio swept Akron with an 18 point margin. Amanda Andersen (Centennial) had 11.5 points for Ohio.
ATLANTIC 10
George Washington beat Duquesne in four with a 21 point margin. Abby Syverson (Minneapolis Southwest) had 8.5 points for GW.
BIG SKY
Weber State beat Idaho State in four with a 16 point margin. Brittney Bisaillon (Jackson County Central) had 15 points and Leah Burmeister (JCC) had 14.5 points for WS.
NON CON
San Francisco beat Penn in five with a 28 point margin. Penn led 2-0 before the Dons stormed back. Virginia Senf (Woodbury) had 2 points for Penn.
TOURNAMENTS
Maryland Eastern Shore swept St. Augustine's with a margin of 48 points in the first match of the Winston-Salem State tournament. UMES swept Savannah State with a margin of 43 points in the second match. Chanita Wesley (Benilde-St. Margaret's) had 1 dig vs SS.
Stony Brook won the first match in their own tournament with a sweep of Xavier with a 14 point margin. Alicia Nelson (Eastview) had 12 points for SB.
