Owatonna beat #2AA Marshall 2-0.

The Huskies raced out to a 5-0 lead out of the gate and used that momentum to roll to a 25-15. Owatonna earned 21 of the 25 points in game one.

Game two the Huskies had a dramatic finish to win. Marshall led 22-17 when Owatonna took their last time out. Whatever was said in the time out should be bottled because the Huskies responded with an 8-1 finish to win 25-23. The last three points came via Tiger errors. In fact Owatonna only earned 10 of their points in set two. Owatonna closed out set two with five straight first ball side outs, another key factor in their upset win.

Bethany Thompson had 11.5 points for Owatonna. Rachel Westby had 10 points for Marshall.
