SUNDAY RESULTS
Michigan is now 6-0 after beating host Georgia Tech in five. Beth Karpiak had 19 points for the Wolverines.
Host #11 Hawaii swept Cincinnati. Kelsey Brandl (Lakeville North) had 8.5 points for the Bearcats.
Colorado State topped Pacific in four at the Oregon State Tournament. Tessa Nelson (Tracy-Milroy-Balaton) had 8.5 points for the Rams.
Florida State swept South Dakota State in the Seminole Tri-Tournament. Mackenzie Angner (Cincinnati St. Ursula) had 14.5 points and was on the all tournament team.

Here are the Saturday results for Upper Iowa in the UN Kearney tournament. The Peacocks split with a 3-0 loss to #3 Truman State and a 3-1 win over Incarnate Word. Shea Meyermann (Camanche, IA) had 16.5 points vs TS and 12.5 points vs IW.
HIGH SCHOOL
St. Michael-Albertville beat the host Marshall Tigers for the title in the Southwest MN Challenge. Minneota finished in fifth place plus four other area results. Willmar finished 2-3 in the tournament. From the Marshall Independent and West Central Tribune.
#3A Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa beat host Howard Lake-Winsted-Waverly for the title at the HLWW tournament. Heidi Lensing had 52 kills on the day for BBE. Plus four other tournaments.
#7A Ada-Borup won their own tournament on Saturday. AB did not lose a "set" or game on the day. They swept Fosston, RLCC, and Kittson County Central in pool play. AB beat East Grand Forks in the semis, and Climax-Fisher in the finals. #10AA East Grand Forks finished in fourth. From the Grand Forks Herald.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE
MN West finished in 4th place with a 2-2 record at the Rochester Tournament. The Bluejays beat Hibbing and Western WI Tech, and lost to Fergus Falls and Madison Area Tech. From the Worthington Daily Globe.
Riverland was 1-3 in Rochester with their only win over Gogebic. Their losses were to Rochester, Madison Area and Hibbing. From the Austin Daily Herald.
SITTING VOLLEYBALL
The US Sitting Volleyball team opened the 2008 Paralympic games with a sweep of Lithuania. Assistant coach Cara Bartolic is from Sartell.
