Gophers Bounce Back, Badgers Bounced

BIG 10 TOURNEY RESULTS
In Hawaii the #12 Gophers swept Cincinnati in three, and then swept Wyoming.
Brook Dieter (Bloomington Kennedy) had 14.5 points vs Cincy.
Lauren Gibbemeyer (Cretin-Derham Hall) ahd 13 points vs the Cowgirls.
Kelsey Brandl (Lakeville North) had 6.5 for the Bearcats.

Illinois split their contests at St. Louis. The Illini fell to #3 Stanford and beat William & Mary in a sweep. Laura DeBruhler had 13 points vs Stanford. Kylie McCulley had 19.5 points vs W&M.

Indiana won their fourth straight and won their own tournament. The Hoosiers beat Louisville in five. IU's Erica Short was named MVP of the tourney and had 22 points vs the Cardinals.

Iowa split their matches in the Denver Tournament. The Hawkeyes fell to the hosts in a sweep, and then Iowa rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Virginia 3-2.
Laura Kremer had 11.5 points vs Denver and 16 vs Virginia.
Virginia's Marlow Bruneau (Lakeville) had 38 assists and 7.5 points vs Iowa.

Michigan swept Georgia State and then the Wolverines did the same to Arkansas at the Georgia Tech Tournament.
Juliana Paz had 15 points vs GS. Veronica Rood had 10 points vs the Razorbacks.

In Delaware Michigan State beat New Hampshire in four. The Spartans took the title from the host Blue Hens in a sweep.
Vanessa King had 19 points vs NH and 17 vs Delaware.

In Dayton Northwestern swept Cleveland State and then the Wildcats swept Towson State.
Sabel Moffet had 15.5 points vs Clevlenad State. Chelsy Hyser had 11.5 points vs Towson State
Naomi Johnson (Bloomington Kennedy) had 6 points vs Cleveland State and 2.5 points vs Towson State.

At Wichita State tournament Ohio State beat Cal State Bakersfield in four, and then the Buckeyes lost to the hosts in five.
Kristen Dozier had 19 points vs CSB and 19.5 points vs WSU.
Susan Halverson (Apple Valley) had 9 digs vs CSB and 11 digs and 1 point vs WSU.

#1 Penn State swept George Washington and then the Nittany Lions swept Villanova.
PSU's Nicole Fawcett and Megan Hodge each had 14.5 points vs GWU. Arielle Wilson had 14.5 points vs Villanova.
Abby Syverson (Minneapolis Southwest) had 6.5 points for GW.

#18 Purdue swept Southern Illinois and then the Boilermakers did the same to Ball State.
Stephanie Lynch had 13.5 points vs SIU. Danita Marlau had 13 points vs BSU.

Miami of Ohio stunned #10 Wisconsin in Las Vegas in four. The Badgers bounced back with a sweep over Cal State Fullerton.
Katherine Dykstra had 14 points vs Miami, OH. Elle Ohlander had 15 points vs CSF.
Nikki Klingsporn (Tartan) had 23 assists and 1 point vs Miami, and 17 assists and 2 points vs CSF.
