Gibbemeyer Co Big 10 Player of the Week

COLLEGE REPORTS
BIG 10
The Gophers Lauren Gibbemeyer (Cretin Derham Hall) was named co-Big 10 player of the week. It is her first honor in her career. Purdue had two winners. Stephanie Lynch was also named co-Big 10 player. The Boilermakers' Kelli Miller was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Wisconsin's Katie Schill (LaCrosse Aquinas) is out this year due to a herniated disc. From the LaCrosse Tribune.

Marshall's contest with Miami of Ohio has been cancelled due to power outages.

North Dakota is 12-0 and looks to make Jamestown #13.

North Dakota State faces Oral Roberts at home on Saturday.

Rhode Island takes on Northeastern today and Holy Cross on Wednesday.

Washington State plays Utah Valley on Friday and the WSU alumnae on Saturday.

Weber State's Brittany Bisaillon (Jackson County Central) was named Big Sky Player of the Week.

Concordia St. Paul moved to #2 in the latest poll. Other Northern Sun teams include: SW MN State #9; UM Duluth #12; and Augustana #20.

AWARDS
MSU Moorhead's Calla Oftedahl (Eastview) was named the Northern Sun's Defensive Player of the Week. Kasey Loeslie (Tracy-Milroy-Balaton) of SW MN State was named offensive player of the week in the Northern Sun. Maggie McNamara (Zumbrota-Mazeppa) of Concordia St. Paul was setter of the week.

AWARDS
Concordia Moorhead's Anna Tinkham was named MIAC defensive player of the week. Hamline had two players named players of the week. Emily Amici (Whitewater, WI) was MIAC hitter of the week and Jackie Kelly (Blaine) was MIAC Setter of the Week.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Northwestern, IA JV swept MN West. From the Worthington Daily Globe.
