SOUTH ACES HENRY
Minneapolis South swept Henry in three Thursday night. Sophie McBride had 14 aces on the night for the Tigers including a string of seven straight to almost close the night out.
Game one proved to be the tightest of the three. Henry led 4-3 for their only lead of the night. South then ran off five points to take an 8-4 lead and they didn't look back. Henry did close out to 11-10, but a missed serve halted any momentum and opened the door for a seven point run by McBride. The Tigers finished first game with a run of five.
South had big runs of seven and eight in game two to put the Tigers in the drivers seat. They closed out game two with a 17-2 run.
In game three South raced out to a 4-0 lead with three aces by McBride. She also had seven straight to almost close out the contest. The Tigers are now 3-0 in the conference.
