MORE D1 RESULTS
In the Arizona State Tournament Cincinnati swept Cal State Northridge and lost to the hosts in four.
Kelsey Brandl (Lakeville North) had 9 points vs CSN and 15.5 points vs Arizona State.

Colorado State swept North Carolina in the CSU tournament.
Tessa Nelson (Tracy-Milroy-Balaton) had 6 points for CSU.
Briana Eskola (Columbia Heights) had 9 digs for UNC.

Denver beat Ball State in five in the DePaul tournament in Chicago. Kresson Vreeman (Central Christian) played in one game and had one assist.

Furman lost twice in the Western Kentucky Tournament. The Paladins lost in three to Western Kentucky. Valparaiso beat Furman in four later in the day.
Pamela Gehrke (Eastview) had 3 digs vs WKU and 3 digs vs Valpo.

George Washington swept Delaware State in the GWU tournament. Abby Syverson (Minneapolis Southwest) had 9.5 points for the Colonials.

Marquette rallied to beat Temple in five in the Marquette Challenge.
Leslie Bielski (Chaska) had 13.5 points for Marquette.
Tiara Russell (Osseo) had 10.5 points also for the Golden Eagles.

Marshall beat West Virginia in five. Megan Carlson (Andover) had 12.5 points for the Thundering Herd.

In the Buffalo Tournament Maryland Eastern Shore lost twice. Butler beat UMES in five. Host Buffalo beat UMES in four.
Chanita Wesley (Benilde-St. Margaret's) had 14 digs and 2 aces vs Butler, and 9 digs vs Buffalo.

North Dakota State beat Maryland in four in the New Orleans tournament. Chrissy Knuth (Champlin Park) had 16.5 points for the Bison.

#19 host Kansas State beat Northern Iowa. It was UNI's first loss of the year. Amy Sampson (Champlin Park) had 8.5 points for the Panthers.

In Miami Oral Roberts beat Penn in five. Virginia Senf (Woodbury) had 3 points for Penn.

Rhode Island beat host New Hampshire in five. Jillian Bekke (Cretin-Derham Hall) had 7.5 points for the Rams.

In the Carolina Challenge South Carolina beat the College of Charleston in a sweep. The Gamecocks beat rival Clemson in five.
Bridget Denson-Dorman (Hopkins) had 50 assists and 3.5 points vs CofC and 52 assists vs Clemson.

Texas Christian beat host Texas Tech in five, and went five for a win over New Orleans.
Jess Menden (Shakopee) had one assist and one dig vs TT, and did not have any numbers in one game vs NO.

Davidson beat Charlotte in five at the Davidson Wildcat Classic.
Courtney Cowles (Eden Prairie) had 43 assists and 4 points for Charlotte.

Portland beat Seattle in a sweep at the Portland State Showcase. Jennifer Sheedy (Totino-Grace) had 14.5 points for the Pilots.

Virginia swept Virginia Commonwealth. Marlow Bruneau (Lakeville) had 31 assists and 2 points for Virginia.

#18 Wichita State swept host Washington State. Emily Rooney (Red Wing) had 10 points for Washington State.

At the Gonzaga Invitational Weber State beat San Diego State in five. Brittney Bisaillon (Jackson County Central) had 13 points and Leah Burmeister (also JCC) had 8.5 points for WS.

TODAY
10-0 North Dakota is headed to St. Peter for the Gustavus Triangular.
