FRIDAY'S BIG 10 RESULTS
Iowa upset #18 Wisconsin in a sweep with a 23 point margin. Set three ended up 25-10. This broke a 13 year winning streak by the Badgers. Iowa now has as many wins as they had last season. Catherine Smale had 13 points for Iowa. Katherine Dykstra had 10.5 points for the Badgers.
Nikki Klingsporn (Tartan) had 18 assists for Wisconsin.

I reported on Minnesota's tight sweep of Northwestern last night. Tonight the Gophers face a Badger team that will be in a bad mood.

Michigan State beat Ohio State in four. The MSU margin was five points. Vanessa King had 19 points for MSU. Anna Szerszen had 19.5 points for the Buckeyes.
Susan Halverson (Apple Valley) had 8 digs for OSU.

Illinois beat Indiana in four. Indiana won the first set before Illinois swept the rest. The margin was zero points for the night. Laura DeBruhler had 22.5 points for the Illini. Erica Short had 30.5 points, 25 on kills, to lead all players for the Hoosiers.

#1 Penn State swept #19 Purdue with a margin of 27 points. Nicole Fawcett had 14.5 points for PSU. Stephanie Lynch had 9 points for the Boilermakers.
